Stuart Shawcross

Stuart is one of the UK’s leading gameshow creators. 
He has created formats including the BBC’s ‘The National Lottery: Win Your Wish List’ (the UK’s highest rating gameshow 2015/2016).

Stuart also created ‘Number 1 Soap Fan’ for ITV, and Channel 4’s ‘Five Minutes to a Fortune’ and ‘Benchmark’.  He was responsible for launching the world’s first live play-along app for ITV’s ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire?’ which went on to win the interactive award at MIP TV.

Stuart set up Hello Dolly, a new independent production company in 2017 to create and produce original entertainment for the local and international markets.  His latest creation ‘Hard Ball’ is a unique, fast paced quiz, that was commissioned straight to series and is due to air later this on BBC1.

He was previously Creative Director at Victory Television, a joint venture with Sony Pictures Television.   Stuart has collaborated and developed with some of the industry’s best creative talents, including Dave Broome (The Biggest Loser and Ultimate Beast Master), David Young (Dog Eat Dog and Eggheads) and Michael Davis (The Power of Ten) and David Flynn (Million Pound Drop).

Other formats he has created or developed include; ‘Draw It’, ‘Viewer of The Year’, ‘Number One Soap Fan’, ‘A Night with Beyonce’ and ‘The Fanatics’.   ‘The Million Pound Drop’ creator David Flynn said:
