Daniel Ravner is Founder and CEO of Perspective Media LTD and RAVNER (Practical Innovation). His Former roles include being Head of Digital at Armoza Formats, Head of content at The Box and creative director of Screenz

In March 2012 Daniel was elected by leading business magazine Globes as one of the “40 most promising people under 40 in the Israeli business world”

The Perspective won the 2017 WebAward in the News category and an Eppy Award for Best Innovation Project. In April 2018 it was announced that The Perspective is nominated for both the prestigious Webby and The Drum Award.

RAVNER creates ventures that merge new and established media for business development. The company brings its expertise to projects such as Springboard – a unique startup accelerator for the RGE media group (Children and sports channels). It provides consulting for the TV Format Fund which acts a bridge between the TV and finance industries. It creates interactive formats for Showbox, provides training worldwide, and is a proud partner in ventures like ground-breaking second screen app The Couch, which allows you to watch TV with your favourite stars.

As Head of Digital at Armoza Formats, on the world’s top independent format distributors, Daniel oversaw development of cross-media formats and technologies, including ‘TV by the People’ – the first TV format created and developed via crowdsourcing. As Head of Content at THE BOX Daniel developed TV formats for the Israeli and international markets as well as branded content for clients such as P&G and 3M. Daniel also facilitated the company’s business development in the global TV industry

Daniel is also a founding member and the creative director of Screenz – a cross-media company offering digital solutions for TV entities such as Fox International Channels and Red Arrow. Screenz is a joint venture between THE BOX and Keshet, Israeli leading broadcaster.

In 2010 Daniel won the prestigious fellowship for the Entertainment Master Class – a selective executive education program taking place in various locations worldwide.

Daniel’s professional blog www.ravner.tv covers original new media content and TV/WEB relationship, articles from which regularly reappear in publications such as The Marker. He lectures worldwide on New and Cross media, most recently at TV and Tech event MediaCom 2015, and gives workshops on transmedia and new media content in various academic institutions.

Daniel graduated with honors from his Film and Theater studies in New York City. He interned at MTV networks, earned the “W. Eaton award for excellence in playwriting” and also won the IFC’s sponsored Festeyeful “Best of Festival award” for his short film The Art of Talking to Girls. He currently holds a business strategy MBA degree.

He wrote for prime time Israeli TV (channel 2 and 10), acted as artistic manager of “Smallbama” – an emerging artist’s theater festival, and wrote the nationally toured comedic play The Chat and its Punishment. Daniel was associate story editor on Channel 10′s prime time show “The Sting” and in 2009 acted as head writer and story editor for the first Israeli ARG “The Architect”.
