Michel Rodrigue hosts ATF Formats Pitch 2019

 

TFP CEO & Partner Michel Rodrigue hosted this year’s Formats Pitch competition at the Asian Television Forum in Singapore in December.

The ATF Formats Pitch is the premier formats pitching competition for creators and producers of new and original, unscripted (non-fiction) entertainment formats. This is a platform to flaunt the best of Asia and expose ideas for development and export within the region, and the world.

The winner, Gamaliel Paulus S., received a cheque for S$3,500  to develop his quiz show DON’T BLOCK THE NUMBERS.

Michel,  CEO & Partner of The Format People said:

This year’s final selection panel were: Mike Beale, EVP, ITV Studios (UK); Vivian Yin, consultant; Ilan Astrug, Head Format Acquisition, Warner Bros Int’l TV Productions; Sonia Flack, CEO, Bomanbridge (Singapore); and Nomin Chinbat, CEO, Mongol TV (Mongolia).

The pre-selection panel were: Justin Scroggie, CCO & Partner, The Format People; Sylvia Kocman, Manager, Distribution; and David Bodycombe, Managing Director, Labyrinth Games.
